Yup, #### is going down In Kharkiv region right now. My wife's village, Kozacha Lopan is once again in the cross fire. My MIL is on the phone with her brother and his wife right now getting their situation. All the stores have packed up and gone, no UA soldiers or gear remain. Power has been turned off. It's a grey zone now.
Going to ugly on that front over the next few weeks. Ukrainians army seems to be ready for this attack per their claim. We'll see. Hoping that US aid gets their ASAP.

Tonight might have just been the biggest gathering of Georgians marching in Tbilisi against the russian violations and law infiltrating the Georgian government!
UK announces largest-ever military aid package to Ukraine The package consists of 4 million rounds of ammunition, over 1,600 missiles, and 400 vehicles, UK defense ministry announced. https://twitter.com/user/status/1789310747563937876
Russians pouring across the border into Kharkiv Region, no armor, lightly armed, disposable cannon fodder, like Russia's war against Japan in which Russians were sent in even without weapons. The meat waves have begun. https://twitter.com/user/status/1789560685837336607
The current situation at the northern Kharkiv frontline is not entirely clear, but we can assume that Russians have moved into some undefended and empty villages along the border, just outside Russia. https://twitter.com/user/status/1789629588991074378
The one at 47:00 is quite impressive, forgo offense and pretty much everything...to not die. But put a giant V on the camouflaged shell so you don't forget this is a proud modern Russian design.
And let's put ERA on everything!

Is the concept on those that the armor piercing elements will activate on the outer shell, and so not be able to properly defeat the armor beneath?
I think that's a loser's game... It's not like yield is the limiting factor on a tank destroying weapon.
The concept is to keep a FPV drone away from the weaker parts of the tank armour on top, back and sides, where the smaller ordinance that a FPV drone can lift can be effective.
I agree that it's not going to stop a weapon designed for tank-busting, but I think the majority of Russian tanks are being stopped by mines/artillery and then finished by FPV drones.

What a fascinating and terrifying time to be at war.

UA losses are substantial too. Hard to read some of the UA socials right now, a LOT of people dying. Russians are slowly but surely getting within range of Kharkiv. Hard to believe a city with a population larger than Calgary is on the verge of getting attacked by terrorists like this. Literally no other reason to be there then to murder people. That's it.

I do wonder what, if any, the Western response will be if we start seeing massive FIBUA in Kharkiv.
