Still confounded. Jets were the better team 5 on 5, and apparently even with the lopsided reffing had more scoring chances in the game (screw shots). Helley being outdueled by the avs goaltender is ####ing crazy to me.

It was even at best, and go look at the penalties they are stick fouls.
Winnipeg is not being goalied lol what a terrible take.

The Jets were not better lol. The Avs were unlucky to not be up after 2.
Jets look cooked to me. They're in full on panic mode and I don't think they know how to handle the Colorado attack. Doubt can kill your game, even if you have enough talent to win. It's up to Bowness to do something big with the morale of his team, otherwise this series is already over.

Wut?
Other than a short span in the 2nd, the Avs were all over the Jets in all situations.
This series should probably be 3-0 Avs, and without the Georgiev no show in game 1, would be.
You can claim "screw shots" all you like, but they are a major indicator.
Wpg has surrendered 125 of them in 3 games. That is atrocious.
The Avs have a grand total of 2 more PP's in the series.
Jets suck.

I don’t think the Jets have sucked at all. They’ve been keeping up nicely on the offensive side with the Avs, by skating well and taking the attack to them. Perhaps they can do a bit better crashing the net and getting more dirty goals. Where they’re faltering is when the Avs are taking it to them. They can keep up with their speed but they’re playing scared to commit to stripping the puck off the Avs player, and aren’t taking the body in open ice. So they’re letting Avalanche players run around and be shifty and make great passes and are sitting on their heels scared to over commit. Colorado to their credit aren’t taking their offence along the boards where Winnipeg can defend well against. All Colorado’s offence is kept in open ice. It’s pretty fun to watch, despite my pool about to be severely dumped with Winnipeg players all over as I thought they’d win it all.

Problem is, the Jets are getting beaten, badly and Hellebuyck isn getting “out dueled”, he’s giving up 6 goals a game. Big difference there.
But
I know that is a hell of a prognosis 3 games in

This is exactly right, even down to the pool bit!
I am hoping Colorado gets the "just keep doing what we're doing" yips, and the Jets adjust. Bring the series back to Winnipeg all tied up.
Go Jets!

The bitterness of Friday still lingers. But if I wanted it easy I'd pick a team to cheer for. I was born into this ####. Jets until I die, Winnipeg until I die, win or lose.
GO JETS GO!!

Jets certainly don't look like they're disproving the "frauds" label. I've been calling them that all year, and the Flames clowned them twice which is a terrible sign.
Hellebuyck's last 7 playoff games: 1-6, 32 goals against (4.5 average), 0.875 SV%.
