Well, obviously it will be Ullmark.

He is 30, never played 50 games, is coming off his worst statistical season, and is going to want to be extended based on his Vezina season which they would obviously need to do. But have at er. The market opens up for Calgary too.

They have faced more backups than any other team and have played more teams that played the night before

5-0 now and Monster Truck is exploding. I think the Flames broke the Penguins last night.

The radio feed from the Penguins and TVA Sports are great alternatives to Michaels and Moon.

Kaprizov gets the hat trick including the tying and winning goals. Boldy assisted on those two goals. The Wild win 4-3 in regulation time. Great effort by the Sharks again, but, came up short. They had a 2-0 and 3-2 lead, but, could not stop the Wild.

Oh please tell us what is not true about it, Oiler fan?

They already mentioned once that the Penguins didn't get to their hotel until 3:00 AM this morning. Oilers had probably been asleep in their own beds for 4 hours at that time. But DoubleK says it's no advantage for the league darlings.

The Penguins need to blow things up. Will Dubas have the cajones to trade Malkin and Letang in the off-season? I doubt they move Sid, but they're going nowhere with this lineup.

It will take more than cojones to trade Letang. That's a back-diving 35+ contract, which means the cap hit continues until 2028 whether he plays or not. Is there a GM who will bet on Letang still being a useful player at 40?

Is Malkin even tradable for value at this point?
I'm not familiar with his contract.

I just looked that up now.

Two more years after this one, $6.1m cap hit, .78 PPG this year. It does count as a 35+ contract, but I'd feel a lot safer paying Malkin for two years than Letang for four.

I think he'd have value to a contender with a short window. Probably a lot of value if the Penguins retained salary.

Oilers off to Boston to play the Bruins...who play in Toronto the night before
nobody can honestly look at the Oilers schedule and say it wasn't hand picked for McDavid success.

I can, the NHL can barely organize itself in a good day, there’s just no part of me that thinks they sime how conspiratorially organized a favourable schedule for anyone. If there was any conspracy it would be to figure out how to get Mcdavid to leave Edmonton, it’s not like the team really gains any benefit from him being here or the Oilers having any real success.

Try taking your Oiler goggles off. It's pretty obvious to anyone looking closely at the schedule. Have a look at how many times this season the Oilers have played a game against a team that played in a different city the game and day before they play the leagues little darlings. And don't even get me started on the backup goalie situation.

You honestly think the league put out a mandate to all the other teams that they need to play their backups against the Oilers and they all listened and kept their mouth shut and no one cried foul?
