Could be, like I said I wasn't looking out for locations when watching so I'll have to go back to it.

You're close, it's in Brittania.

Based on the buildings you can see in the background, I'd guess Jennifer Jason Leigh's office is in the old Nova/Nexen building on 7th & 7th. I remember a couple of years ago, it was in the news because it was fully vacant after Nexen moved out, so Fargo probably got a good deal on the space.

The interior of Dot and Wayne's house is likely a studio set, not filmed on-location.

The only verified location I can find is Didsbury hospital, which I believe was the police station when Dorothy was released?
Nope. The Scandia Police station that Dot was released from at the beginning of episode 1 was the old Shell research building in the University Research Park. It's now occupied by the UofC and called the "Life Sciences Innovation Hub"; 3655 - 36 Street NW.

I'm pretty sure Lorraine's office is, as others have pointed out, in the Nexen Building, facing east. Other locations I've recognized from the inside include:
  • the hospital patient room Witt was recovering in in episode 2 was actually inside the old Police Admin building across the CTrain tracks from City Hall, looking south toward City Hall,
  • the North Dakota State Patrol building in episode 3 is actually the old Greyhound bus depot; Witt hobbles in on crutches through the west side of the building, and from the inside perspective we see Wolfe Chev/Buick/GMC/Cadillac dealership—the old GSL Chev City—behind him. Likewise the scene after his interaction with Gator, where he's reading an article on a laptop about Gator in a diner? That diner set was also in the Greyhound depot, near the southwest end of the building. You could see the Sunalta CTrain station and the Wolfe Chev/Buick/GMC sign in the background out the window.

John Hamm shouted out beautiful Calgary and by beautiful he meants freezing cold. Maybe they should have filmed during our warm stint this year but then they wouldn't have any snow.

Ok, this is definitely Lorraine Lyon's (mother in law) house. Exterior anyway. Ignite TV doesnt allow for FFWD, so too much work to go back to episode 1 to see interior.

I really liked that episode.

I agree, but a tiny bit unfortunate to have an episode completely without Dot. She might be the most compelling character since the beginning. Interesting to see the Golden Globe nominations for the season less than halfway through- did the voters have access to the full season in advance, or are they nominating it based only on the few episodes that were out at the time…

I didn't love the last 20 mins or so with Ole, or the Ole storyline at all...so he is some sort supernatural being? There was a good story in there to be sure but for me it doesn't fit with Fargo that pretends to be based on true events.

rest was good

I like how Roy and his Maga crew got dusted in short order...realistic how the federal agents took care like swatting a fly

The key is it pretends to be based on true events. There are a lot of unexplained/supernatural things in the previous seasons.

Billy Bob Thornton's character in season one is implied to be a demon, or possibly Satan himself, He even says, "I haven't had pie that good since The Garden of Eden" at one point.

Season two has a UFO.

Season three has the whole scene with Ray Wise in the bowling alley.

Ole is a sin eater. That is a real thing that was done. The ritual they showed him doing was real. He eats the sins of someone so that person can enter heaven.

Ole is defined by his sins.

Dot is not. She moves on with her life despite the tragedy that has happened to her.

Dot gives her food made with love. He eats it and is forgiven.

Shaw not adding the final episode to Ignite TV is getting pretty annoying!? I have FX, but for whatever reason got in the habit of watching this season on the shaw app.
