Apparently Jesper’s blocking style didn’t fit the Oilers style of play, so they weren’t interested in drafting him.
Another reason Schwartz should be fired, but I think they should sign him to a new contract.

Oiler arrogance will always endure in the face of reality. They'll never stop thinking they're one move away. Plus, they need to try to compete in order to placate the two guys steering the ship.

I actually think it would've turned around under Woodcroft given enough time.
Thank goodness they didn't have the patience nor tolerance to see it through.
There's no chance under this new guy. And they deserve every bit of fallout that comes from that kneejerk decision.
