Last time I was promised lights not much happened. Very faint, at best.
Give us something reminiscent of november 2021 and I'll stay up for it.

Where are you guys observing from
Where I am it's faint. Waited for eyes to adjust, but still not that bright. NW looks illuminated, but that appears off in the distance.

I’m near Westbrook mall, hanging in my backyard. It’s been coming and going in bands. Check out yyc twitter. Heaps of amazing shots.

In NW. Lights were visible in the NW to N sky. They come and go with varying intensities. It’s something of a waiting game.

If you can see them from Westbrook then I should be golden. I guess I need to bundle up and stake out this thing.

For a few minutes the whole sky over downtown was teal, despite all the downtown lights. It was epic.

The lights turned into a bit of a story here. We have a view in the house every which way except North, so we had to strategize a bit. I went out the front door and was met with howling coyotes not far off and I could hear them trotting through the forest. Ok, not ideal. I go to the back deck and wake up the mama moose and her yearling and they gave me a snorty welcome. Thankfully, the deck is up high, so no danger, but definitely scared the crap outta me.

We had them here in Sydney last night. I didn't catch them but will be keeping my eyes on the skies this evening.
Crazy that they're this far south.
For clarity sake, Sydney, NS at 46°08′11″N and not Sydney, NSW at 33°52′04″S which would be insane if the Northern Lights were viewable from there!

Download the “My Aurora Forecast” app.
Has some decent info there. Not always accurate but an ok predictor. Has some really amazing sun images, Aurora images, and forecast info.

Pretty good for in the city right now.
Unfortunately I'm not going to venture out to the boonies for this one.

Was flying last night when an announcement was made that the Northern Lights were visible on my side of the plane. Woman two rows in front of me took a photo through the window. With a flash!

Peak of the prediction was the morning of March 25th, in UTC, which means last night, not tonight. And the storm that came was big but early, fizzled out before North America got dark.
Could always still get something, but it looks like Calgary missed it.
