Yeah, the Flames are actually lucky to have an ownership group that is willing to spend, and a managing partner like Edwards who undoubtedly is passionate and committed to keeping the team in Calgary. People can complain that the direction they set for Treliving is not adequate at the moment, but I'd be very apprehensive about wanting an ownership change.

If you're so wrapped up in fandom that you'd wish for someone to die because of it, you are a complete loser that needs to find something better to do with your time. Like therapy maybe, you psycho.

It isn't. People can apply the thread label on their own.

Ownership can "meddle" all they want. That's the beauty of ownership.
Puts fans in a weird predicament. We feel like the team belongs to the fans, city etc. But in reality it's rich person's toy.
Then once in a while they ask for the taxpayer's money to help cover the costs of their toy. Pro sports is kind of effed up really.
Anyway Edwards has given the team financial stability and a respectable professional image. Has a GM or POHO ever gone to him and said the way to build a consistent winner with consistent playoff revenue is through patience and investing heavily in scouting and development? I would love to know.

I don’t see the big deal, I wish death on people constantly. Like 3 people a week minimum. And it hardly ever works! Like 1 out of every 20 at best, more like 1 of 30.

This should just be deleted. There’s enough similar threads already, and those don’t call for the death of the owner.

I give this team lashings and understand others doing the same but stuff like #3 should never enter the equation

I can relate to the frustration or asking for a change, but you have gone way too far. It's a sport, not a matter of life and death...
