That's the Lehner replacement? Why do I get the feeling this is gonna be a Kipper like thing for Vegas?

I don’t know why San Jose is helping them but it’s not like this is a season saving move. They have better balance though for a split games system.

Even it were to happen, Vegas would just dump him when the next big goalie name becomes available.

Sadly, a Hill-Thompson duo is probably good enough in this division to secure a spot.

Arizona was smart to sell Hill when they did. I don't know if he'll be an upgrade on what Vegas already has.

I think the Division as a whole is stronger than it was last year. Anaheim and LA will both be better; Vancouver will be better; Calgary will likely be just as good. Seattle and Arizona are still junk, but there are legitimately five or six Pacific teams that should be vying for playoff spots.

If it means Golden Knights are in and Oilers out I support the trade

Here! Here!
I honestly think the only thing mcawkwardininterviews likes about Edmonton is beating the flames. Wonder if the stats back that up?

EVERY ONE of Vegas' goalies are injured. Pretty sure Hill will be better than a shooter-tooter, though maybe not by much

All that said, I think it’s very cool that two former Calgary Buffaloes goalies are playing together in the NHL!

Acquire Hill for a 2nd a player. Trade him for a 4th a year later.
Guess that was preferable to losing someone to waivers.

McCrimmon said last week he expected Logan Thompson and Laurent Brossoit to be the tandem. I'd put Hill in the same category as both those guys.
