You should consider engaging in it a bit more actually.

I disagree

Yeah, but like 40% of your posts are calling people some variant of not bright/not too smart, so that's not really surprising.
The range is positively Trumpian.

Just Trump supporters, and its 39%.
Are you watching them lap up his rambling lies? Am I wrong?

No, just apparently the only one that has to keep harping on it like it's new information when everyone else figured it out in the primaries.
Maybe it's projection. Either way, pick a new lane, the asphalt is all worn out on that one.

I still can't get over how true it is. Look at them soak up the lies.
He just said no president has gotten more done in 6 months than him, and they believe him. Not bright, very dumb.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm getting at with the "maybe it's projection"

Charlottesville VA - WTF???
Quote:
Robert Lee lost something in Virginia — and 152 years later, another Robert Lee did too.
The living Robert Lee, an ESPN broadcaster, was pulled from calling the University of Virginia home opener against William and Mary on Sept. 2 because he shares a name with the Confederate general at the center of unrest in Charlottesville.

Not fake news, just says that Robert Lee preferred to call a different game and ESPN agreed that would be best.
Really just a matter of avoiding an awkward coincidence because of the recent news. Of course some people are making it out to be a politically correct thing, but the article makes it clear it was a mutual decision because of the timing, not because he can't broadcast anymore because of his name (or anything stupid like that).

I'm agreeing with Photon that this is about the dumbest thing I've heard too. It was dumb by all parties to even consider that an issue. But it is also a complete non-issue, because UVA vs W&M is not exactly a high profile game and his is just switching spots to a game of equal profile.

IMHO, people in this thread are getting judgy about whether posts meet some level of quality that they determine. Followed by 'advice' or 'feedback' to the poster. Not the direction I want to see the posts go.
(yes I know that is hypocritical of me to say)

I thought this was an interesting timeline of when confederate monuments were established in the US. Very telling...

What I find most interesting in the above image is how the vast majority of schools being named for Confederate leaders occurred during the civil rights era, a time when American schools were being desegregated. I'm sure that's entirely coincidental and not at all intended to be a giant F U to the newly enrolled black students.

And similarly, many of those constructed on courthouse grounds were done immediately after the Plessy vs. Ferguson case of 1896, which attempted to challenge segregation through the courts.
