Interesting series to watch roll out ...
19. Sean Monahan
17. Dougie Hamilton
Gaudreau is 23 so he will make the list giving the Flames 3/25 which is pretty amazing. Will they have the most on that list?

Leafs with Matthews / Nylander / Marner will likely have 3 as well.
Can't see Klefbom being named ahead of Jones and Hamilton so they'll likely have 2 in Draisitl and the saviour.
I think the list will be...
1. Connor McDavid
2. Austen Matthews
3. Jake Eichel
4. Nikita Kucherov
5. Matt Murray
6. Hampus Lindholm
7. Mark Scheifele
8. Leon Draisaitl
9. David Pastrnak
10. Aleksander Barkov
11. Aaron Ekblad
12. Johnny Gaudreau
13. Filip Forsberg
14. Patrik Laine
15. Mitch Marner
16. Zach Werenski
17. Dougie Hamilton
18. Seth Jones
19. Sean Monahan
20. Nikolaj Ehlers
21. William Nylander
22. Jacob Slavin
23. Brandon Saad
24. Jonathon Drouin
25. Max Domi
Bolded already released by this site.
Nathan Mackinnon, Rasmus Ristolainen, John Gibson, Alexander Wennberg, John Klinberg, Sam Reinhart, Matthew Tkachuk, Jacob Trouba, Morgan Reilly some notables missing the cut.
Personally I'd remove Slavin/Saad/Domi and insert Ristolainen, Gibson and Wennberg.

Thank for posting. Had not heard of this website. They had a separate Flames article stating Lack had a real chance to finish season with most starts in net. If that happens, we're f*****d.
Happy to see Hamilton recognized on this list.

Based on his first two seasons I think Paryako could have at least been a consideration for 25-18 slots of this report.

I love it when a poster has the cajones to put their own list out there. Thanks for doing so, and opening yourself up to criticism.
I would put Laine in my top 5, or am I overrating him? Maybe Ekblad too. Eichel could move down some.

You're not overrating him. My guess is Laine will be number 3 on the actual list.

Brandon Saad is still under 25? It seems like he's played 10 years.
Wait a couple years and I bet you can add three more Flames. Tkachuk will have solidified his rep, Valimaki will have made an impact and Parsons will have made an early NHL push.

Domi doesn't deserve to be on the list IMO. Too many better players. Domi didn't even hit double digit goals last year! I wouldn't trade Tkachuk for him. I'd take his teammate Dvorak over him. Just not a good pick by them
Ristolainen has to be on the list IMO.

I think 3 is wayy to high for Jake Eichel, I don't even think Jack Eichel should be that high up..

I think you've said the same thing in two different ways, I don't even think you made a seperate point with the second clause of that sentence.

The list says Jake instead of Jack and he is joking a bit in that regard.

Hamilton is so underrated. What does he have to do?

It is quite comical. I thought it was an awful choice excluding him for team NA last year and thought there was some Chia bias in there with Hamilton being the one that Calgary stole from Edmonton. He went from 41pts at 21, to 43 at 22, to 50 at 23 playing top pairing minutes.
HF can be influenced by the Oiler fans because of their abundance (and lack of Flames fans since the majority are here). Couple that with the bogus Leaf rumors last year and Hamilton was grossly undervalued. Reading those boards prior to the trade in 2015 Dougie was the next great Dman. A bad breakup in Boston and a rocky start in Calgary got the group think stating Hamilton is an awful Dman with some offensive skill. Finally after a year and a half plus he is getting the love he deserves again.
This is a guy that lost a poll to Adam Larson last year. He easily won the poll this summer

2017 Eichel was a complete beast. A point per game player, finished the season with 36 points in 33 games. This was while playing with Reinhart (47 points in 79 games) and Foligno (23 points in 80 games).
I don't know the exact criteria for the top 25, but assuming that potential is taken into account than I would have no problem with Eichel being in the top 3.

In the words of Bob Hartley, Let's let him be our little secret.
