Made my first stop there last night. The selection of beers is a little overwhelming actually. Gotta look at it like Pokemon...gotta catch'm all.
Highly recommend you visit, I know I'll be back.

I figured the store shut down. H&L used to post in here all the time, now you'll never see him in here.

Probably a good sign if anything. He's got too big for us CP folk.

Not sure if you are in Calgary but if you are blonde ale by common crown is a good fit. Not an amber ale but nice drinking ale close to a lager that is especially good in summer.
Steel and oak does a nice red pilsner.
Red rage by toolshed in Calgary. Anything by last best brewery, cold garden...lots of suggestions .

Hey guys, sorry I was MIA from this thread, I didn't notice it getting bumped! Definitely not a Beer Magnate! Just working 12 hour days running a retail store eats up time quick!
I never realized how much time I spent surfing CP and other places randomly over the years working office jobs! I definitely don't do it enough anymore these days!
I'm still honoring 15% off CP discounts for August! (except domestic beers like Bud, etc. because we sell those at nearly cost! It's a competitive business)

A guy ordered a keg of conductor for a stampede party and we also have it on tap currently, it's just your average lager but it's pretty tasty. I see most growler fillers leaning towards interesting IPAs, fruity beers, and other things right now.
We have Toolshed's Cranberry Blonde on tap right now. They won't be making anymore so taste it while it lasts.
We will be getting Last Best's IPA #4, a New Hop (get it?) which is a collaboration between them and Trolley 5 in the next couple of days. It's also the last keg available as they only made a limited batch. They don't even have it at the tap room at Last Best anymore.

We have a couple cans of Mt Begbie Tall Timber and High Country Kolsch left. I checked into ordering more this week but the suppliers are out of stock. Is there a specific one you are looking for? We take requests!

Any chance you're able to get Red Trolley Ale from Karl Strauss brewery in California?
I'm a fan, but never been able to find it outside California.

Have you ever heard of a beer called Zombie Apocalypse? I had it in Edmonton a couple of years ago and have been trying to find it ever since. I thought it was from an Edmonton brewery, but I recently learned it may be from Quebec. Would love to have it again.

hey H&L, are you able to order any Croatian beer? My Dad loves the stuff but I can never find it, and one place that did have it only had these giant bottles that would get my Dad half blitzed on visits. Ozujsko, preferably

My favourite beer is the "Corfu red special ale" from Greece. I would buy a lot of this if you somehow got it into your store.
