Nice to have all the variety, but I wouldn't mind some colours that aren't as neon!

Preach it. EBA is one of my all time favorites. I even imported and beat both the Japanese versions. Hype level would be maximum if a sequel was ever announced!

Monster Hunter XX being ported to Switch. Not my style of game, but that is pretty much the third party franchise Nintendo needed to hold on to to win Japan, and it's going to move a ton of hardware in the US too.

I just bought a Switch on Amazon and it was delivered today. I purchased Zelda and 1-2 Switch with the system. I already have Zelda on the WiiU and have put about 200 hours into it, so I know what I'm getting there and I don't mind playing it again. I have Mario Kart on the WiiU as well so I'm not sure if the Switch version is worth the upgrade. Are there any other must-have games on the system yet?

I played the Arms test punch today for a whole hour and had a blast. And that was just with one limited game mode. I love a game that's totally unlike anything else I've played before. I had it pre-ordered already and am definitely confident in picking it up now.

As a Wii U owner, the only games I wish I could play on the Switch right now are Puyo Puyo Tetris and ARMS. Snipperclips and 1-2-Switch look okay but not must buys.

Meh indeed. But it will still sell out in seconds in Japan, and won't be released here.

Nintendo left money on the table here. They should have made the dock skin-able with face-plates like some DS models. Not many are going to pay for several docks, but I'm sure lots of people would drop $10-20 for a dock cover.

Grrr. My right Joycon died sometime between me playing Zelda yesterday, and resuming today. It won't even power on. Guess I'm stuck playing with an 8bitdo controller until Nintendo fixes it. Very disappointed, I've never had hardware failure 4 days into owning a console.

I might look into Puyo Puyo Tetris if it can be played without the motion controls, and/or with one Joycon controller. I was going to check out the next Testfire for ARMS, but my right Joycon bit the dust....

Snipperclips looks cool, but once again, broken Joycon. I did buy 1-2 Switch so that my wife and I could have something to play together, but once again, broken Joycon.

First up, sorry to make it 3 posts in a row, but I fully agree. The docks themselves are way too expensive for basically an HDMI passthrough housed in flimsy plastic. They should have made the docks skin-able with faceplates. I didn't give a crap about the 3DS faceplates as I have a New XL, but faceplates on the dock I would totally be down for.

You're in luck, because my preferred way of playing Puyo Tetris has been with a single Joycon. It controls surprisingly well for such a small controller!

Have you tried sliding them in to the actual system and rebooting everything? Once it looked like both my Joycons were not powering on or anything, but something mustve just been weird with sleep mode. I slid them both on to the system and rebooted and then they synced up. Haven't had that problem since.

OOTC is probably right

I sent a controller in to Nintendo because of the de-sync issue and that controller came back dead. It didn't seem to charge normally so I read online that you can reboot it while on the dock with the controller slid onto the system. I tried it and it started to charge

Yep, tried all of that yesterday. Reconnect, reboot, unpair, re-pair, docked, not docked..etc. Still no Joy(con).

The only consolation is that Nintendo support is surprisingly not horrible. If you haven't already, just give them a call and they'll arrange for you to send it back, and you'll probably be back in business in a week and a half.
