Just in case anyone wants to join the supporters group this year, or just meet some of the supporters, we'll be having our AGM (which is basically just us talking about the upcoming season) at Rose and Crown on Apr 18 at 7 pm.
Also, we have new scarves in if you want one. They'll be $20 until the end of the game on May 5 and $25 after.
I'll try and make it!

Just in case anyone still reads this thread, the club will be doing "Show Up Ship Out" again this year for certain games.
For the home opener May 5, you can get a ticket, pint, and bus ride to and from the game from Ship and Anchor for $15. Bus leaves at 6:15, game starts at 7.
Also, Foothills showed up to the supporters AGM and leaked their new kits to us. They look damn good, and they'll be available online this year. I think the club is officially unveiling them in May.
Foothills FC won their first game of the season in dramatic fashion, erasing a 3-0 deficit to win 4-3. Was great to meet Shermanator and some of the other Foot Soldiers. Anyone on the fence about going to a game please do so, it's a great atmosphere and a really fun way to support local soccer.

Foothills complete the double with a 2-0 win over TSS Rovers.
Not going to lie, I absolutely hate the venue they are playing in this year and cannot wait to be somewhere better next year. But on the bright side, the supporters stand is directly in the beer gardens, so there's that.
It's just an utter shame there isn't a way to make something like Broadview work. Plus, how much better does the free advertising get than all the cars driving by on Memorial?
Foothills do the double over Victoria Highlanders in Victoria this weekend. 1-0 and 3-1 wins put them at 5-1-0 to start the season, 5 points up on Seattle Sounders U-23 for second place in the NW division.
Personally, I think the roster is weaker than last year's with the Adekugbe and Russo injuries, and the departure of Bauche, but they seem to be getting the job done.

In case anyone is interested, the Calgary Foothills WFC team is playing their UWS home opener tonight at 6 pm against Santa Clarita. The opponents have former Canadian international Lauren Sesselmann and Venezuelan international Deyna Castellanos.
