Default Community Restoration Program Voting

Wondering if a few CP'ers like myself with the annoying feeling of having been swept by the Ducks wouldn't mind helping me out.

Calgary Hitmen Foundation are offering a $50,000 grant for a local project in need of funding. My daughter will be attending Kenneth D Taylor Public Elementary School in Evanston next year so I of course hoping that it is the winner.

Vote as often as you like, until May 1.

Thanks!

Bump! Apparently Evanston (Kenneth D Taylor playground) is in 2nd place, behind by roughly 600 votes. So, we'll need a come from behind victory if we are going to get this done.

Please vote!

I second this, my sister is a big part of the push for playground fundrasing there. A school with no playground is just a prison for children!!

I'd suggest some prisons even have 'playgrounds' (out in the 'yard'). So yes, our kids in Evanston definitely deserve a playground at the public elementary school.

Especially nice that they want to build one that is disabled friendly and also better for kids with autism. I'm glad my kid is not disabled or affected with Autism, but I would still appreciate having a playground that is suitable for kids that are.
