I don't think I'd ever say I want a $500 ice machine, but I want a $500 ice machine.

Makes those ice pebbles/chips like at Sonic. I LOVE cold drinks so this is almost worth it to me.

$3000US for the ice only one.

This is cheaper tho:

Then again I wonder if you could buy the industrial one and make money selling that kind of ice...

Yeah the pebbles aren't totally solid, it's like they have little bubbles in them or something, so they soak up the fluid around them and retain some taste even after the drink is gone. They get and keep the beverage down to ice temperature faster because they have a greater surface area. And they are very pleasing to chew since they're not solid.

It's like the difference between eating a solid potato and potato chips

Neat, good use of electronic ink screens. $1600 is harsh though.

Maybe try Campers Village? I feel like I saw something similar there.

Did you back the TappLock on Indiegogo? I did. I actually forgot that I did until I got the email a couple weeks ago.

I received my TappLock today and it was worth the wait! The original fulfillment date was Oct/Nov of 2016. Here we are at the end of May 2017.

I did a quick video on it. The Android app is still a little buggy. The build quality is very impressive. Very heavy. Battery is supposed to last 1 year from a 2 hour charge.

Canadian company based out of Toronto. These guys were on Dragon's Den a couple months ago.

Correction in the video: I paid $119 USD at the time of backing. This was for 2 unit.
