Was it regarding healthcare? Just an update on that situation...
Talked to our family doctor and she told us that BCBS is no longer accepted in the 3 hospitals that are 5 min from our house! If we had an emergency we would need to travel 35min to downtown Houston! Obamacare is awesome! Where is Duffman with some more graphs?

And that pretty much shows how much you actually know about energy in general, environmental impact and clean energy. Let alone anything about new reactor designs and impacts. You likely don't want to get into that discussion because there is one person that participates on this board that is involved in the design of new reactors and another that supplies the world nuclear energy market with chemicals (the latter is me). I'm sure there are other experts as well lurking about.
Also, given you are so concerned about nuclear do you have a clue where much of the US nuclear waste goes or will be going in the future? Hint it is your backyard.

I believe it. Airdrie to downtown is only 10 minutes in rush hour.

Of course I know the design is likely quite safe but given your apparent fear and misunderstanding that should scare the hell out of you.

Man you free market capitalists know very little about the market. The drilling rig count collapsed because oil went from $100 to $27. Thanks Obama.

US over production due to shale oil boom and overzealous bond market funding uneconomic drilling. When you pump $100B into the oil companies chasing yields you create a bubble and oversupply.

As I said you likely don't want to get into that discussion.
Feel free to put forth your assessment of death, health issues and environmental impact caused by the coal mining and the coal power industry and how it compares to the nuclear industry. Hell I'll let you simply focus on the US if you like. You may also want to take a look at some simple things like the radioactivity that is released by coal burning plants etc. given you are likely gravely concerned about such things.
I suspect you won't bother doing that work as it would put you in danger of learning a thing or two.
And for the record I'm not saying nuclear is the answer for everything. And if you are really keen on learning something feel free to join me at the Small Modular Reactor and Advanced Reactor Summit later this week in Atlanta.

It was about your opinion on abortion and yet you support a man who is willing to negligently drop bombs on civilians - children - in Yemen and Syria, and a man who took deep cuts out of social agencies to further fund the American war machine.
My question to you - you are upset about Americans aborting fetuses but are you ready to fight for the rights of children who have died from US missile strikes? Or does the value of a child's life only matter if they were supposed to be an American citizen?

Man that President Obama (2009-2017) sure hated energy production. Just look at this chart which proves he just wrecked havoc on the industry.

I forgot about the shale boom. With that the total USA max production was around 9 million barrels a day. But wait! The USA needs over 18 million barrels a day to sustain? And CNN told me the USA has too much oil and thats why prices are falling... remember they showed all the tanks in Cushing OK all full???....hmmmm..... something isn't adding up. I wish I knew why everyone lost their job in Calgary and the North American energy industry was decimated.....

He sure did. If that graph went a bit more right you would see that line go close to 300. Terrible.

Oil is traded on the world market, what you're proposing is energy socialism. If someone can produce oil at $3 a barrel, and it costs us $25-30, why should the guy who can make money at $10 lose to the people who need 3x that number? The industry was decimated by greed, assuming the price would stay high forever, and that they (US Shale) could continually add a million barrels a day every year when world demand grows by barely more than that.
