After Monday's games
Oilers and Predators won
Kings and Sharks lost
1. Chicago (47-20-5) 44 ROW, 99 pts--first in the Central Division
2. Minnesota (43-22-6) 40 ROW, 92 pts--second in the Central Division
3. San Jose (42-23-7) 40 ROW, 91 pts--first in the Pacific Division
4. Edmonton (39-24-9) 35 ROW, 87 pts--second in the Pacific Division
5. Anaheim (38-23-11) 35 ROW, 87 pts--third in the Pacific Division
6. Calgary (41-27-4) 37 ROW, 86 pts--fourth in the Pacific Division
7. Nashville (36-25-11) 34 ROW, 83 pts--third in the Central Division
8. St. Louis (38-28-5) 37 ROW, 81 pts--fourth in the Central Division
__________________________________________________
Los Angeles (34-31-7) 32 ROW, 75 pts--fifth in the Pacific Division
The only position that is somewhat certain is the Bhawks hold on 1st place in the conference. Now the bullseye is on the Sharks as 3 teams are in their rear view mirrors, including the Flames just 5 points back. Heck, even though the Wild don't mean anything, they could be passed too. Playoff positivity, for sure!

As fans, our confidence will be affected.
I believe this team has no doubts heading into that series.

I think it's pretty safe to say the CGY will be playing playoff hockey this year.

I'm not sure how Sportsclubstats comes up with their odds for winning the cup, but according to them going 0-1-6 give the Flames the best chance.

As explained on the site:
"Win Cup: Chance team will win the Stanley Cup. Because I don’t recompute you’re strength when the playoffs start, if you finish strong you’ll have a higher chance than shown."'
And 1-0-6 seems to give the highest Win Cup Chance. 6.4% instead of 6.2% for most other finishes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Going to the Kings game on Wednesday, is their any chance they can clinch a spot on Tuesday if the Kings lose, and the Flames win on Monday against the Avs? Really want to see them clinch it on Wednesday.

The earliest the Flames can clinch a spot is Wednesday.

I'm not sure what either of you are looking at. Currently the Flames have a 1.7% chance of winning the Cup if they go 7-0-0 and a 0.6% chance if they go 0-7-0. It drops slightly with every point less than 14.

With the four games in California we could easily end up in first or in the second wildcard depending how we do.
I love it. Playoffs came early

Exactly! I love that the Flames will get tested in the crucible of California. It will be a good way to accelerate the intensity before the big dance.
