Real or not, you aren't going to win many games when you can't score any goals.
This was the problem in october, it will be the problem until the end of the year.

This team needs its top players to start performing. Gio was invisible tonight and his age really showed. Yeah it's great he scored the tying goal but he was bad all night.
Gaudreau was bad once again and I don't know what's wrong with him.
I also don't understand why Hamilton isn't on the first pp unit. Can someone please explain this to me? Why is Brodie who has no shot and isn't a good pp QB getting more pp time than Hamilton and Gio?

Team is playing solid, but struggle to create quality offence. Gaudreau needs to stop being just another body on this team, he needs to be way bettter. I don't know how much partying he's doing, but it's obviously too much to make it to practice on time, and it's clearly to much for him to play his best every night. I don't care if he's having 1 beer a night or 24/7 coke benders, he needs to scale it back to whatever level allows him to play well.

What makes me nervous is I think the Preds and Kings have better coaches and rosters and thus are underperforming more than the Flames are. Can't rely on those teams staying inconsistent; need to win games like this where they badly outplay the opposition.

Should the Canucks really be that ecstatic...gave up a point to the final Wildcard team with 5 seconds left

Gaudreaus struggles are concerning cause its not like hes playing like his usual self and having bad luck, he looks like a Paul Byron out there. I don't get it. Hard to believe that its just that other teams started to focus on him. As if they didn't focus on him last season when he was one of the best players in the NHL?
This sucks. Not having peak Gaudreau sets this rebuild back a ton. We need someone to step up and be a legitimate star. Every team needs a star.

Flames had ample opportunity to win the game as they had lots of PP time too. Miller stood on his head. Flames look unorganized right now and not playing good team hockey. Clean it up before it's too late. Not sure this team makes the playoffs with the way they are playing right now.

That really bugged me too. Seemed like a middle finger to Flames fans. I'm sick of national broadcasts feeling like the others teams regional feed.

I agree he had one or two turnovers but the guy was setting people up left and right...Brodie in the slot with the puck, just skate behind the net

Why not Brodie/Gio or Hamilto/ Gio. It's like these coaches didn't watch anything from the last 2 yrs.

Bennett non existent again. I would honestly send him to the AHL.
Gaudreau really infuriates me. You are struggling, simplify your god damn game. Get the puck to the net, quit holding on to it for eons. How many times does he have the puck in a position to shoot and he holds on to it and goes behind the net only to lose it or his centring attempt getting blocked?
Elliot played well after that horrible goal from centre but man he gets caught deep in his net a lot. He should have been challenging Tanev on that OT goal.
Otherwise solid effort, Miller has definitely got our number.

The Kings have suffered from inconsistent goaltending and I expect that to continue. Had Quick not been injured I have no doubt they'd be higher in the standings.

Elliot had been ####ty all year, and he was at it to start this game. Those goals happen, but they're still inexcusable. Chasing a playoff spot and that's how you start. Jonas Elliott. I feel like I'm dreading the first shot again just like all of last season.

Gaudreau has struggled but I think it has to do, not only his own struggles, but he's a transition/rush player. That element is dead on this team. That is also why brodies and Giordano's numbers have fallen off a cliff.
