Flames @ Canucks, 8:00 PM MST. CBC HNIC, Sportsnet West, Fan 960
It's the conclusion of today's Hockey Day in Canada extravaganza. The Main Event. The Flames invade the Left Coast to singe some whale. As a special treat/gimmick, the Sportsnet broadcast will be brought to us in VR...or 3D!
Needless to say, the Flames have to play like madmen possessed from here on out. And who knows possession and madness better than That Darn Puppet? He's found inspiration in the classics, so with apologies to Melville, we know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, Our Hero will go to it laughing:
Go Flames

IMO it's a matter of games now for Johnny before he goes on a run here - like Versteeg on his right side I think that's the closest version of the Johnny-Mony-Hudler line since we had it. Plus Johnny always seems to be a gamer when it comes to the nucks!
Hatty for Johnny tonight and a 7-3 win
Gaudreau x 3
Bartowski
Monahan
Tkachuk x 2

Elliott is due for a hot streak of 20+ games like Johnson was. He's a better goalie then he's shown thus far. Hopefully the win in Philly is the start of a nice hot streak for him, right when the team needs it.
A very winnable game tonight. Hoping for a big thumping of our rivals and no sign of the Mr. Hyde team tonight.

Going to this one! First game live since the only goal we scored was Vancouver scoring into their own empty net with the goalie pulled.
Hoping to see some legitimate goals tonight.

You need the Sportsnet app and a VR viewer out of a case of Molson, as you'll see here:
http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/s...six-nhl-games/
...so in keeping with the SCTV theme, you really DO need to get your special 3-D glasses from Count Floyd!

Nice man, glad to hear you are making it up for another one. I was batting around the idea of heading to this game but I think I am will be on kid duty tonight. Hopefully a much better result than that last game.

Yeah some interesting storylines for me. Will Gaudreau break out of his offensive funk? Monahan score his 100th? How's this Bartkowski kid going to be? Ferland-Bennett-Brouwer sounds pretty cool. No Chiasson thank God! Elliott coming alive?
Should be a fun one.

Oh it's very simple.
1) try to decipher how to get a "headset" because they don't say how in the promos
2) Maybe? Buy a 28 pack of Molson Canadian? That's what it looks like on the website? A 28 pack? Of Canadian? Come on.
3) Download the app
4) Get your PIN number from your 28 pack of Molson Canadian and type that in
5) Enjoy the experience of holding a cardboard box up to your face for as long as possible
Couldn't be easier. It's Hockey Day in Canada. Of the millions of people watching, at least 10 of them will be enjoying it in virtual reality!

Really excited to see Hamilton at RW. I hope this is chance for him to get on a roll offensively and earn an opportunity with Ferland and Bennett or Gaudreau and Monahan. At this point our top 9 needs a shakeup at RW.

Lots of hoping for averages to balance out.
Curious to which team we see today. Really can't stomach yet another wheels falling off game so hopefully thats not the case. They're still in the thick of it so lets hope they play like it cause Nashville and LA still have two games at hand.

I was able to just grab a viewer at the liquor store without buying Canadian. They weren't in boxes of beer and they didn't care if I bought Canadian or not.

I'm not. Hamilton is an AHL calibre player, he is not going to be the answer to our RW scoring woes.

I don't see what the Flames see in Hamiton. He's not good enough for a top 6 role and isn't a good 4th liner. Think we could do way better at the third line with someone else.
His two year one way deal remains a mystery signing to me.

Probably a handshake deal with Dougie to get him to sign long term. Or part of his deal etc
On the topic of Freddie on the 4th line he has done a very good job in limited minutes hemming opponents in their own end.
