edit: I know I said 8 games in a previous post, but i miscounted it is actually 8 now including today's game
Looking at his stats in OHL he was more of a playmaker than a goal-scorer
Here's hoping we have our future Chara/Burns hybrid!!
The BIG Falkovsky

Definitely something there from watching Adironack Thunder game highlights which I am now doing regularly thanks to Falkovsky hype.
His left handed one-timers from right side on the PP look NHL calibre to me.
His last two were 16 seconds apart on PP in the 10-4 game.
Almost the same spot on the ice each time. Not sure he was playing powerplay earlier in the season.

This season so far: 17.5%
Falkovsky's Shots per game:

Before this point streak: 1.57

Read into that what you will

Your turn to bump the Falkovsky thread. His streak is worthy of mainstream attention!
Once he fully grasps English the skies the limit for this young man especially since he can skate too!

I read into it that he will be the first 1000 game NHL player to have a career 30% shooting percentage

Looks like the streak is over, barring any scoring changes.
Falkovsky held pointless in a 4-3 OT loss.

They saved 15% on their car insurance by selling their posts to GEICO.

Falko is just on a minor league contract correct?
Is there anything to stop another team from signing him to an NHL deal?
Or do we own his rights for few more years regardless?

Teams own the rights of any prospect drafted out of the CHL for 2 seasons.
I imagine he'll get signed to deal and move up the AHL team next season if he keeps up his play.

It will be fun to see how Falkovsky progresses in the AHL next season. The Flames could use a giant D-man becoming a solid NHL player.

A hat trick and the shootout winner. Pretty solid game for a d-man.
