The Oilers account tweeted that the time from 7:45 to 8:45 includes warm ups. So I imagine the ceremony goes till like 8:15?

Hope the flames don't come to bench till it's almost done. Hopefully it kills some of the oiler energy sitting thru all of it.
Openers are typically unkind to the flames. Hoping to come out with a point.
Hope they are able to take McDavid's time and space limited. Controlling his speed will be critical for the boa going forward.

When trying to predict the outcome of this game I still had last year's goaltending on my mind. We no longer have last year's goaltending. I think the Flames spoil the housewarming at the Oiler's new barn. 3-1 Flames and Johnny is the best player on the ice. 1 goal and 1 assist.

The NBA is like this and I found it hilarious how it caught Calgary hockey fans off guard at the Raptors pre-season game at the Dome.
Tip off was 7pm (I believe) and at 7pm the players were at centre court and the ref tossed the ball up with people still wandering the concourse probably going "what the hell's going on down there? Some sort of ceremonial tip off?".
