It was while talking to her husband that a tiger ran up behind her and knocked her down and dragged her away in a matter of seconds. The woman’s husband and her 57-year-old mother ran after the tiger in an attempt to rescue her. Off-camera, her mother was killed by a second tiger. The younger woman survived, and is at the hospital in serious condition. She underwent surgery Sunday morning. A young boy, also in the car, was unharmed.
Video is tabbed NSFW, not gruesome but tagged none the less.

The backstory is that the woman got in an argument with her husband, got upset and walked out of the car then got attacked by a tiger. Her mother then went out and tried to help, but she ended up eaten by the tiger, while the woman suffered serious injuries.
The zoo is not liable since they made the visitors sign a waiver stating that they must keep all doors and windows locked at all times....
Again, Darwinism wins..... And pissed off women will do unpredictable things that no one will understand.....

The minute that you don't show enough respect for mother nature is the minute that it rips your guts out and kills you.
I'm actually surprised we don't have more instances of Bear or Mountain lion attacks in our part of the world. A lot of people I know like to hike off the beaten path and I've seen a few of them post pictures of bears they encounter in the distance as well as Moose, etc.
Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.

Bears aren't predators except for the very occasional solitary make black bear so bear attacks are defensive in nature. Cougars don't see humans as a food source so don't attack unless sick or not taught how to hunt.
Simply making noise and being aware of surroundings is enough to prevent most attacks.

Or if you're gonna leave your car in a TIGER EXHIBIT, one would think you'd have your head on a swivel at the very least...she had her back turned.
Honestly head on a swivel won't really do you any good.. I think a lot of people do not realize just how fast certain animals can move when they want to.

No, it probably wouldn't make a difference, but don't you think you'd at least be on the lookout if you had been kicked out of that car? (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you wouldn't willingly leave the vehicle. )

Is that true? I've seen first hand the result of a cougar attack. The cougar stalked an adult male on a road bike and chased him down gnawing on him until a passing car made the cougar flee. He said the most terrifying thing was beforehand, hearing the clickity-clack from the cougar claws on asphalt getting closer, and closer, and closer until it jumped on his back.
Perhaps our animals are just a bit more civilized?
For example, my dad caught a few bears playing golf down in Waterton over the weekend.
Okay, someone needs to photoshop this onto the Iwo Jima marine corps memorial.
