Was never a fan of Jon Jones, but I just watched his conference, and it was pretty painful to watch a grown guy crying. I got the impression that he was guilty as charged, and it was crocodile tears streaming down his face. I guess he felt a responsibility to squander whatever reputation the UFC has left, in light that the organization has been sold. Everyone is bound to lose money on this. Hopefully the Fertittas and White are the biggest losers. They've always come across as complete dirtballs.
Its official that it will be Silva and Cormier at 205.
Crazy card tonight which was capped off by RDA and Alvarez, but a few great fights on this one. The Fight Network is basically amateur hour though. I have no idea what is going on there. Maybe they let students run that channel to learn how to actually run a TV station? Ridiculous.
Tomorrow night is the TUF finale which includes Joanna and Claudia Gadelha (sp?) for the title. Then Saturday is a huge day of fights with what looks like an undercard of wicked fights, never mind the main card.

Highly doubt they lose money because of this, they might lose some PPV buys but I doubt they lose money, just don't make as much.
Them selling the UFC is doing to make both the Fertittias and Dana White mega-bucks (4.2 billion?), so no dice there either.

Super pumped that Alvarez added UFC gold to his collection. Been following him since 2008 in Dream.
I'm happy that Tate and Nunes is now the main event.
Also, for some reason I think that Silva might actually win. DC's weight cut has been brutal, not to mention the emotional turmoil, adrenaline dump and not knowing if he's even going to fight.
Sure Silva is coming in on super short notice, but all of his fights at 205 have been amazing. Yes, he wasn't fighting anyone in the same league as DC, but crazier things have happened.

Plus, I just don't like DC and want him to lose.
Totally with you on this. I like Silva, and just don't find many DC fights that entertaining so if he's somehow out of the picture that is good with me.
Dana being a hothead again. You'd think the guy would wait before all the facts come out before risking his foot in his mouth. We've seen crazy things with USADA before too.

I think Dana's pissed because the Jones camp is slow to release their side of the facts, like what supplements he was taking. You're right though, Dana is a hothead, so it's probably better that he and Jones don't speak for a while.
