I agree but that is a bad goal not flukey.
He shot from there because he saw Berra out of the net. That goal was on Berra not on luck.

Why? Because we aren't 5th overall in the league in our first year of the rebuild?

We'll see. I have faith that Rämö has the mentality to win some games. Just needs to get into a groove. I don't care about style points, a goalie needs to be tough between the ears above all.

Worked for Hasek. He was criticized for his style. My dad still thinks hhe's a hack that was lucky for flopping.

And who's to say we draft well? We could be in the same situation as the oilers in 4 years. We don't even have a goalie for the foreseeable future

But as soon as we lose another game to the Oilers with Burke in charge, you'll probably want him gone too.

Maybe if he brought in a goalie he deemed "the best goalie not in the NHL" costs us the game than yeah, i would want him out too.

What kind of goalie are you hoping to bring in? Are you looking to give up assets in exchange for an elite goalie so we can win more meaningless games in a rebuilding season? Feaster isn't here to win now, he's here to build a winning team in the future, and he's already drafted one promising goalie in Gillies. Feaster is not a name that should be brought up after tonight's loss. We're a bad team and you have to expect to be bad. You can be mad at the Flames for giving a crappy effort, but don't be mad simply about losing or it's going to be a long 3-5ish years for you.
I am fine with the Flames losing, as long as they don't lose like Oilers. Show some pride, pushback, and give a solid effort almost every night. Tonight was certainly not one of those nights, but that's not Feaster's fault.

Feaster assembled the softest team in NHL history after Sutter got the boot. We don't hit, we don't fight. We dont' stand up for teammates who get bertuzzied. We dont stand up for our goalies who get destroyed.
Fine we choke a lead to the worst team in the NHL. crap happens. NO ONE made Dbag Ference pay!
I wish Feaster would proclaim to the media how is going to guarantee us the 1st pick overall like he guaranteed the media that we were making the playoffs 2 years ago.

I don't even see a 1st overall pick the solution to it all. They've done nothing for Edmonton. I'd rather see a team earning some wins on the backs of its younger players and drafting 10-12th. A team making progress and finding a winning culture and mindset.
