Iginla comes out on fire in the first with 2 goals an assist and a fight for the Gordie Howe. After seeing that Iginla "still has it" the Hawks decide to pull the trigger and trade Saad, Teravainen and a 1st for his services. Iginla switches locker rooms during the intermission and goes on to score a Hattie for the Hawks to tie it up. Unfortunately for Chicago Brandon Saad pots the OT winner for the Flames.

They got lucky last time, so hopefully the Flames do a better job of finishing them off tonight! 4-1 Flames. Iginla has a monster performance since it was one of the 4 teams on 'the list'. Kipper keeps looking better in net.
Kiprusoff has started each of the Flames last 11 games in Chicago (including 2009 playoffs). In that span, he is 0-9-1, 4.54 GAA, .858 SV%.
not much worse than this year

So he is due for a win? Those are some sad numbers.
Iggy with a hat trick for Calgary, then gets traded to Chicago during the second intermission, and scores another hattrick for Chicago in the third period.
The game is tied 3-3 going into the shootout, where Saad wins the game for the Flames with a sweet forehand-backhand move.

Gotta work until 2300hrs mdt tonight, so won't be able to comment on the game in real time, gonna watch the game on DVR after work. Good luck to your Flames.
2nd game of a back to back tonight for my guys, and the 'Hawks lost their worst game of the year last night...Crawford gave up 4 unacceptably soft goals to the Kings, and the 'Hawk D was non existant...
Game notes: Should be Razor going to try to extend to 12-0-0, a record that hasn't gottne much press. Hossa and Sharp are still out.
Probable 'Hawk Lines:
Frolik (had a stellar game last night)/Toews/Saad
Hayes/Bolland (maybe the worst Center in the Dot in the NHL)/Kane
Bickell/Shaw/Stalberg (Fastest skater on the team...if will blow by unsuspecting D-Men...be warned)
Bollig/Kruger/Mayers
Seakeith
Oduya/Hjammer (this pair is a combined -10 (Oduya (-6), Hjammer (-4)) in the last two games!)
Leddy/Rosival (or Brookbank)
I expect Emery tonight...and perhaps, since Crawford has been wretched lately, Would be no surprise to see Razor move to the #1 goaltending spot for the duration of the season.
Again, good luck to your guys.
