Flames are melting down. This is a team that is just waiting to be blown up they have no confidence and see it is a matter if time before big changes are coming. I think we lose this one 5-3
Trip up game for the Blue Jackets, they have been on a hot streak, they are not an organization used to winning, an inferior opponent is coming in on second half of back to back games, the Blue Jackets should win the game easily, I say the Flames have a chance in this one.
On the cusp of 9 straight road losses, a season well on the way to producing a top 5 draft pick, and a trade deadline day that could see a future hall of famer, former all-world goalie, and other veterans heading out of town, the Flames dominate the Jackets in a 4-1 win.
Everyone involved after declares road streak was "just one of those mid-season lulls", states "we're only 4 points back, and if this team plays like we are capable of, as illustrated tonight, we think we'll be right there at season's end" and "we will look at ways to improve this team at the deadline".
CP's collective head explodes.

Wow does this ever describe our upper manegement. The worst part is, if you want this done, you are ostracized because you value long term success over the short term.

Well, that's part of it. He also needs to be better than the guys in front of him. He isn't there… yet. I imagine his progression will look similar to T.J. Brodie's. He'll be bounced around and in and out of the line up until he proves he's ready.
