Name the company and I will tell you with 100% accuracy if the company you used has qualified technicians. This is based on my knowledge of who is in the industry since 1986 when i started out looking at whose left.
You most definitely have left over smoldering debris left behind from their carelessness,,,I guarantee it
After following abysmal work for 24 years I know what all companies in town and surrounding area are capable of. I wont hesitate to throw anybody under the bus because if they havent learned by now they deserve it.
The BBB needs to more closely examine the accreditation with quality control as poor quality work is on an enormous upswing in the industry. Everybody wants good work done in the shortest amount of time and it doesnt work that way.
95% of companies are happy to comply by rushing in and out of your house because they don't care..95% of the-technician pay is commission...if you wont buy upsold products they will rush as fast as possible out of your house with your money.
Sorry for the long winded response ....I care a great deal about what I do for my customers and am very good at what I do.
I love my job as well and cannot imagine doing anything else.

Do you only do jobs in Calgary or are you also a "have furnace will travel" kind of business?

I just want to thank Everlast for cleaning our ducts this morning. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet him, but my wife was extremely pleased with the job he did. We get our ducts cleaned annually, but this was the first time we had used Everlast and there was a big difference with the quality of job he did versus the other guys.
A couple of examples: he found a piece of wood (I know, WTF) sitting on our heating element that the other guys had left there. We had also been buying the wrong filters (based on his competitors' recommendation) that were causing our furnace to rev too high. He also removed the cold air returns to clean behind them, whereas the last guy just gave them a little squirt with air without removing the covers to get everything. One last thing worth mentioning - we had also booked him in for a humidifier service, but he looked at the humidifier and determined it wasn't necessary. I'm sure a lot of other people would have done the service anyway to make a few extra dollars.
It's always nice when you find one of these guys that is heads and shoulders above the average. We're lucky to have him as a resource at CP, so everybody should use him.
Thanks for doing such a great job, Everlast, and thank you for the discount as well. We sincerely appreciate it.

Had Keith in again last week for our furnace cleaning (definitely required after getting some renovations done).
I also found difference with the quality of job he does compared to other we had previously.
A couple of examples:
He also removed the cold air returns to clean behind them, same thing that before the first time we had Keith the previous company gave them a little squirt with air without removing the covers to get everything.
Also clearing out a bunch of thing our young son decided to hide in the registers & seeing how fast things could go down the pipes.
Keith thanks again!

Hey Keith,
Thanks for doing a great job at my house today. Sorry about the tight space in the furnace room.
CPers ..... don't bother getting work done by anyone else, Keith will do the job right!!
If I have any furnace, A/C, humidifier, hot water tank stuff to have taken care of, Keith will be my first call.
