Rocky start to the season for sure. However, defeating the Canucks and chasing Corey Schneider from the net before the end of the second period makes all the pain worthwhile. I predict a 7-4 Flames win!!
You know leadership is an issue in the locker room when the head coach has to bring Lanny McDonald in the dressing room to talk to the players. Until the leadership issues are resolved I see much of the same Flames team that doesn't follow a game plan for 60 minutes.

Totally agree with this. When is management going to wake the f--- up and realize that it's the players, and not the coaching, that is the problem. Like any Flames fan, I'm hoping they can pull it together and sneak into the playoffs, but it's just not likely with this group. You're not gonna win many games in this league if you're only putting in 30 minutes of effort every game.

I think the Flames hit a big low tonight, Kipper is pulled, Irving brought in looks alright.
Then they take a long look at themselves in the mirror after this one and play great hockey from here on out.

I'll be at the game tonight. My friends, who are Oilers fans, were at the game on Monday and said the locals were really quiet throughout the night. I'm hoping for the same tonight.
Flames win 4-3.
