had one of my contractors send me some pictures of Cardston. he had a freakin hole in his side mirror from the hail, one picture had 4" PVC pipe (160psi stuff not the thin sewer pipe either) smashed to shards, it was new stuff too so not brital at all!
Basically he said everyone will need a new roof and the town is just in shambles

Last year we had 53 days of 100 F or hotter here, so far this year it is 25. I hope that we don't come anywhere near that record that was set last year. However, the forecast highs for the next 9 days are: 108, 110, 108, 107, 107, 103, 104, 100 and 100

I find it hilarious that that's Olds and in Calgary it's sunny and 27.

Was really surprised at how hot it still was even with the clouds. The hail/rain mix has really cooled the air outside.

It's almost like weather is different depending on your location.

Olds is about 70K north of the city though. That's plenty of distance.

You could get a tornado or a brutal hail storm in bonavista and sunshine downtown, really bad storms generally have very narrow path.

It says something when a guy living in Kansas makes a comment about a cloud. It's a gooder.
