I have to believe that they are going to put in a good performance today.... just for my own sanity as a fan that spends too much time watching and discussing this team.
Do we have an Over/Under of % of icetime Iggy spends floating on the Blueline? Or how many times he refuses to pass, and doesn't get a shot off?
Do we have one of new posters wanting to add nothing but stir the pot for things that are 'cool' to do at the time, like jumping on the Iginla hate train?

For your information, I am a new poster, but I didn't just "Jump on the hate train". I have disliked Jerome Iginla for years ever since the lockout for reasons related to his activities within the Union. I joined the forum because, myself like Thousands of other people in Calgary think that its time for Iginla to go. Like it or not, but its these "'cool' to do at the time" issues that bring new members and new voices to forums. We aren't all hypocritical, we just have an opinion, just like you. But to make smart-ass comments to new members who have a valid comment (everyone knows he sits on the offensive blueline, and to argue otherwise is like saying the sky isn't blue) does nothing to help new members of this very well established community (I have read these forums since the first year and just have never registered until last week) feel welcome.
As far as Iginla goes, you have to hope that the success he found going to the net last game will be a spark to get him driving there every shift. He's so talented at scoring on in tight passes that it's a shame to see him spend so much time on the half-boards.

2%?
Henry Fool: That's not completely true. Calgary was back pressuring with great skating and also winning board battles. The Flames have had plenty of crap games this season, but it's not like they had a crappy game and Minnesota just happened to be so bad that the Flames won anyway.
