Flames start off the game well getting some chances and outplaying the Hawks. Out of nowhere the Hawks score the first goal and then it's all downhill from there.

Normally I wouldn't be optimistic about this game. But my daughter turns 1 tomorrow. Almost exactly a year ago, my daughter was born, on that same day, the Flames thumped the Hawks pretty solidly, something like 7-1 if I remember. Can only hope it is a good luck sign!

I would love to see a Flames win tonight, unfortunately, I don't see that happening with the way we've been playing lately.
I hope they can at least get a PP goal...little steps
Went to a Flames/Blackhawks game last season in November in which the Flames stomped the Hawks 7 -2. So I'm hoping for the same tonight as I'm also attending this game, AND I've got my lucky sweater, which works about 50% of the time.
Seabrook went into the boards skates first a couple games ago, and hasn't played since, Frolik tumbled shoulder first into the boards vs. the Canucks. The 'Hawks are usually pretty secretive about injury status, but, I would not be surprised to see both sit out tonght. The 6 d-men used in BC, Keith/Hjammer/Montador/Leddy/Lepisto/Scott. Called up from the AHL Icehogs, Ben Smith, wouldn't be surprised to see him slotted with Bolland and Bickell for Frolik, on the 3rd line.
There is some excitment over Smith among 'Hawk fans, and we are interested in seeing him at the next level, but, Frolik has been tremendous on Bolland's line, which Q sends out against opponent top lines.
Gotta travel to Southern Utah today, so won't be able to watch the game or exchange thoughts with you fine Flame fans for either 'Hawk game in Alberta...(they play in Edmonton tommorrow night)...but I expect a small let down by the 'Hawks after spanking Vancouver.
