After watching the finale on Saturday, I'm relieved to hear they're going ahead with Season 2. What an epic bloodbath to finish the season with. I'm excited to see how the story would unfold for Spartacus, Crixus, Doctore, and Ashur. Not to mention Ilithiya and possibly Lucretia. It's too bad about Varro, he was a really likeable character.

I'm glad there going ahead with the show, but damn. Hopefully the person they find to replace Andy is good because Andy made the show great.

Trailer for the prequel season has come out. Starts in January. Good to see John Hannah and Lucy Lawless back.

excited more for season 2 to begin (even with out Andy Whitfield sadly) but this will work

Oh man, that really sucks. He was awesome in the first season. So sad to lose someone who was just beginning what was likely to be a great acting career.

R.I.P. Andy Whitfield. You will be missed. The show will not be the same without you.

Just found out when I was at work today, what a downer. RIP Andy.

There is no worse disease than cancer. He made a beyond ridiculous show awesome. He seemed like a really nice person, such a shame.
