Definately interested in the 60-1 multicade (cocktail style) with pacman, 1942, etc. Wasn't planning on buying until fall though.

I could of sworn there was a Bullwinkles in that mini mall where the old Futureshop used to be before it moved by Sunridge mall. The animatronic puppet show haunted my dreams for years O_o

I can do Multicades for around $1000 or less in some cases. The 60-1's have a lot of old school games. There are also 1309-1's now that are more fighting style games. These are more but cater to a different crowd. In some cases I can build them in your favorite cabinet but that can dramatically change the price if it is a high demand game. I am going to build myself one in a Dragon's Lair cabinet which is going to cost me a fortune.
If anyone is really serious about something let me know. They take me a while to do as the parts are usually out of the states but we can work things out. This is a hobby for me so I am not looking to get rich doing this. I will build it for a price that is fair and will be less than anyone else in Calgary for sure.
I can do MAME also and build a machine with 3000+ games on it but the front ends are still lacking a real arcade feel so I prefer building with the multiboards.

Just about finished a few 60-1 arcade machines so I wanted to bump this old thread. I have 2 cocktails and one upright. All will be under $1000.

I think there was a new arcade (XScape) opening up in the CrossIron Mills along with the new theatres.

There aren't that many games, it's actually quite a big space for a small amount of games. A lot of it is those chuckie cheese ticket winning things like bowling or those things with coins in them and the bar that moves back and forth pushing them.
Some interesting arcade shooters I haven't seen before that look new, like Rambo from Sega. The graphics are all pretty bad though.

I still need to do cosmetics changes (marquees, artwork, glass) but that will depend on what the buyer wants to spend. If anyone wants to see them PM me for more details.
Upright with 25 inch monitor. Can be 1 player or two player. Needs Control panel, marquee, monitor bezel.
Sega Super Zaxxon Cocktail before it was cleaned and converted. It is not quite done yet. Needs control panels and touch up work on wood and painted areas. Original parts can all be included for conversion back to Super Zaxxon.
The last one is probably sold but it is a Midway Ms. Pacman style cocktail. Can go as is or could get new glass, optional artwork and control panel overlays. Coin door is a bit banged up from someone trying to pry it off so I am trying to track one down.

That space has been permanenty closed, or at least indefinetely.
As for arcades, the only place I'm reminded of now which was loosely one in itself was Easy Street back in the day (or however you spelled it), that was fun as a kid .
