Texas Hold Em- Poker game with awesome graphics, and wifi multiplayer (LAN only for now)
Tuner- a streaming radio app that has thousands of stations. Great, but no Calgary stations.
Free apps:
Aurora Feint: awesome puzzle game with amazing presentation! I can't believe it's free!
Jirbo Break: the classic breat the blocks game. The cute animals are Jirbo's trademark. I think the game is nice looking and fun.
Last.fm: a great streaming radio app if you like discovering new music. You tell the program bands you like, and it will play music by bands with a similar sound!
Tap Tap Revenge: A really cool rhythm game like guitar hero. Only a few songs now but more are coming out soon. Awesome simultaneous two player mode that works.
Shakespeare: It's the complete works of Shakespeare. To download or not to download? There is no question!
Urbanspoon: Helps you find new restaurants using a slot machine! Shake your ipod and it selects a restaurant! Not kidding! Works well for Calgary, give it a shot if you want to find new places to eat!
Pangea VR: downloads panoramic images for you to view. Really beautiful.
Stanza: The best ebook reader so far. Tons of free classics to download on the go!
Well, those are the notable apps I've gotten so far! Enjoy!

A friend of mine got that and showed me it. I picked up an iPhone yesterday and tried to download Tuner, and it is no longer in the App Store. When I go to the developers web site and click on the app, it says that it is not available in Canada.
I am guessing that the CRTC got involved and is trying to protect us.
Omnifocus is turning out, for me, to be an awesome organizer for my Touch. The fact that it syncs with the desktop version of Omnifocus is cool.
iPhone users have it even better - because you assign a "context" (location or situation) to each task, it will use the GPS to determine what tasks can be done in your current location. So, for example, on your shopping list, which contains all of your shopping, if you set the context to "Co-Op", and mark your local Co-Op via GPS, when you get to the Co-Op, it'll automatically show you everything you need to pick up there...very cool
W00t!! I just pwned my 1st Gen iPhone. I found the instructions on the iPhone Dev Team blog by another Rogers user. I saved them so if anyone wants them I can PM you.
Only app I have added thus far is Bejewelled. I'll add more tomorrow night, but it's 1am and I have an 8am meeting tomorrow.
The VNC app is probably my favourite so far. I can't believe how well it works. There's something incredibly cool about being able to remote into a desktop/server from my phone...
I'm talking full gui remote, too. Not just a machine prompt in an SSH term.
Yup, I was able to buy it on Friday night. Strange.
The only other app that I have bought is Brain Challenge. It's a neat little game to kill some time.
My favourite free app is Moonlight Mahjong Lite. To start with, it is a good Mahjong game. It is also a nice app to show people some of the things you can do with a touch screen interface.
