Gillies playing very well so far.
San Jose getting chances on the PP, but he is shutting the door so far.

4-0 Hathaway!!!
Kulak springs Hathaway on a breakaway then Hathaway goes forehand backhand for a pretty goal.

This might be the best period I have seen Stockton ever play against San Jose.
Jankowski picked up an assist on Vey's goal. He and Carroll have 1g + 1a.
1st
1:30 STK Mark Jankowski (1) ASST: None
12:22 STK Austin Carroll (1) ASST: Mikkel Aagaard (1)
16:23 STK Linden Vey (1) ASST: Austin Carroll (1), Mark Jankowski (1) (PP)
17:07 STK Garnet Hathaway (1) ASST: Brett Kulak (1), Mike Angelidis (1)
Shots 15-9 for the Barracuda

The score is definitely flattering the Heat right now. It should probably only be like 3-1. San Jose had a bunch of good chances but no finish, although the Heat had more A+ chances and finished on them.
Gillies will need to be strong and the team will need to compete hard to bring this one home.

4-1 . San Jose scores on the PP.
If Heat continue to give up PPs like this...

If the refs continue to not call SJ for obvious infractions like this...

4-2 San Jose.
Gillies got a piece of it but it trickles through.... reminding me of Game 3 vs the Ducks

5-3 Shinkaruk.
Jankowski will get an assist.
Kind of a flukey play. The SJ defenders double team Jankowski and deflect the puck off Janko's stick or deflect Janko's pass to a streaking Shinkaruk
1g+2a for Janko

Hahaha San Jose's PBP guy....:
"Great Save by David Rittich!!"
"Rittich's been perfect"
"And now a penalty where the stick was knocked out of Gillies hand."
"Gillies put his hand up"
5-4 now. heat had a PP yet allowed a breakaway. Rittich didn't have much chance as that was 1-on-1 high blocker

6-4 Vey with an EN from his own zone.
Game. Heat steal a road game against one of the best teams in the AHL. Now they get a chance to go home and hold serve.
