Vancouver deserved no points in this one. Really outclassed. Edmonton deserved their point against LA compared to Vancouver in this one

Ha ha. Stupid Nucks. I don't even care if it bumps the Flames out of a playoff spot for now.

Lol I went from cursing LA in tying it to cheering when they ended it in regulation. Good job LA!

Ha! That was entertaining.
Went from "hate to see the Canucks win, but at least it will only be a 2 pointer" to "damn, 3 point game, but hopefully the Canucks will lose" to " "

Nuclear meltdown coming up with Blake Price, Geoff Patterson, and the callers on the post game show.

That game went the exact perfect way. Confidence damaging, no 3 points, doesn't really give LA momentum because despite absolutely dominating they only squeaked put the win. Couldn't have planned it better

Interesting post-Christmas road trip to Canada for the Kings. - Fall behind 2-0 in Calgary... Score one and lose 2-1.
- Fall behind 2-0 in Edmonton... Score two, force OT, and lose 3-2 in a shootout.
- Fall behind 2-0 in Vancouver... Score three and win 3-2 in regulation.

Just looking at the standings. . . .
Of all the odd stats this year, the most inexplicable to me is how the Ducks can have the most points in the league and be 15 games over .500, and yet be only +3 in goal differential.

Watching the Nucks meltdown was classic!
Millers body language on the last 2 goals by the Kings told the whole story. Lets in 2 bad goals and cost his team a victory.

John Garrett wouldn't even say anything on the winning goal.
Seeing him that crushed is already the hi light of 2015.

Dang, I got so bored watching LA/ Van, I switched over to the free Oasis preview and missed all the good stuff.
Well at least I can enjoy the post game on 1040

In the Winter Classic, Versteeg took a shot on his Left Hand or Wrist, and did not return...The 'Hawks have called up Terevainen...Speculation has Versteeg out for a while...
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/blackha...6582--nhl.html
Earlier this season, TT had expressed some frustration with the style of play in the AHL, it will be interesting to see if he can stick, as the puck possession style of the 'Hawks is much more compatible with TT's skill set, than the dump and chase style that they play at the Rock...he was ok, his first go around with the 'Hawks, but was a little underweight/understrength for the NHL at that time...he has had a full season and a half on NA sized rinks now, and hopefully is stronger...
(I didn't see an injury thread, and wasn't sure where to post injury news, so I posted here, the game Versteeg got hurt)

Make sure you wear about 15 pairs of socks. The Calgary game was beyond painful. Picking up old heat packs off the ground to see if they still work. Beer freezing the second you open it. Your breath freezing to your face.
It was still a great experience, though I seriously thought I was going to lose my toes. First trip to Calgary. First live NHL game. First outdoor game. First and likely only time I'll see Iginla and Kipper in person.
Also, free seat cushion!
