Picked up my wife and daughter late last night.
Concert was apparently amazing.
Opening acts started around 6ish, T Swift came on around 8, played 45 songs until roughly 11:30.

Wasn't a Taylor Swift fan until I saw her in Vancouver in 2012 on the RED tour with my then-girlfriend, now wife.
Wasn't able to make it to one of the Eras shows in the US but eagerly awaiting announcement of some Canadian dates to try and make it happen. She's a great performer and seeing her live is really fun. And her music is good.

Saw the show in Denver this weekend.
We got tickets in the initial sale, so paid face value, no way was I paying secondary market prices.
The whole thing was amazing.
Pretty much everyone standing for the entire 3.5 hrs.
I like most of her music, so that was great, but the stage show was amazing on it's own.
If she does announce a Canadian leg, I'd definitely consider going again if I could get tickets.

Problem with Take a Chance on Me is Erasure's cover is better.
Gimme Gimme Gimme doesn't get the love it deserves.

Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! is by far my favourite ABBA song.
Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, and Waterloo are really over-celebrated imo. Don’t even know if any of them would be top 10 to me.

Mamma Mia is easily top 10. That #### is catchy and makes you move. Dancing Queen is too slow.

This has nothing to do with disliking Taylor Swift and everything to do with ####ing with an obvious troll post that likely should have been locked the moment the trogg posted it.
I love tay-tay. But this thread is not about our love for tay-tay. It's about our love for ABBA. Now please discuss the topic.

May favourite Taylor Swift song is One Last Time
I wouldn't mind going to a Taylor Swift concert if I could figure out how to go without looking like a creepy old dude. They should make a creepy old dude section so we can have a safe space.

Overplayed. Or maybe the movies ruined it for me. I could die never hearing Mamma Mia again, and I would still die happy.

There is. It's called "outside" and there you will find 30-40 other old men in cargo shorts waiting around for it to be over. Enjoy.

"Eagle" is by far my favourite ABBA's song. "On and On and On" gets an honourable mention though. It was a disco fave and a sure-fire crowd pleaser in my DJ days at the university...
P.S. I can't name a single song by Taylor Swift.

I was thinking the same thing. I know that I must have heard some of her songs and if someone played one, I'd probably recognize it just based on how present she is in pop culture.
I'm not really in the target demographic either though and kind of live in my own bubble when it comes to music.

LOL, I'm definitely not in her target demographics but I've always been very open to all musical genres, as long as the music itself is of good quality. Even country music - arguably, the most primitive form of pop music - has some notable good exceptions. While jazz, funk, R&B, folk and rock continue producing excellent new talent; the pop and dance music is becoming more and more bland, predictable and completely unmemorable imo.

No love for Super Trooper? Or Winner takes it all?
Taylor Swift should cover Winner takes it all.
