I was gonna ask about cbj but Getbak included them. I think they have a chance to surprise. Also, to putNsh lower then us is silly. Their backend is still solid imo.
Also, Tampa at 10 and misssing the po's? I dunno.. If Drouin sticks, theyre gonna compete for a spot.

How is putting Nashville lower than us silly? They were worse than us last year and their forwards group is worse than an ECHL team. Sorry but Jones is going to need time to help them and then it is on defence. I could honestly see Nashville set a modern day record for least amount of GF over 82 games.

I just see nsh allowing a lot less goals in than us. And its still a Barry Trotz team, he has a way of coaching no-name offenses in a way that they remain competitive. All im saying.
Nashville's Goaltending and D are better than ours. Offensively, Trotz has a proven record of coaching a team with a "thin on paper" offense.

I see the standings as the teams with the most points as being on top, the the remaining teams are sorted by points again in descending order until you get to the team with the least points which is known as the last place team.
It seems that getting points is critical in the new NHL.

Nashville had a horrible time with injuries last year. I believe for the last 4-5 games, they had to have 3-4 AHL players come up and play for the big club and once the game was over race back to play AHL hockey. Rinne is a top notch goalie and i see him being back to his old self next year. As someone else mentioned their D and Goalie situation is way better than the flames. I don't think they will make the playoffs, but they will be ahead of the flames.
Out of the central and pacific divisions i see the flames last and i don't think it will be close. The teams that Calgary will be fighting with in the overall standings are in the east.

I see the Flames tied for 1st right now.
However in reality, they are also tied for dead last.

Edmonton higher than San Jose and Vancouver is a very large reach! 5th in the conferense is borderline lottery odds.
LA won't finish 1st either...they are not a regular season powerhouse.
1.Chicago
2.St. Louis
3.San Jose
4.Vancouver
5.Los Angeles
6.Anaheim
7.Minnesota
8.Dallas
9.Phoenix

Well at least most people think Buffalo will at least be better than Florida. Sigh. Another long season for BOTH my fave teams ahead, I figure.
