I am full of useless facts and most likely will not bring most of them up unless there is the odd conversation that somehow sends my brain on a tangent.

Polar bears can turn green. Algae grows in their white fur or something like that...can't remember the specifics haha.
I used to be good for tons of this stuff, but I can only seem to remember it while in an actual conversation with real people.

Most of my useless trivia is music related, but one of my favourite pieces of non-music trivia is that the owner of Sutter's farm in California where the gold was discovered that started the 49er Gold Rush was actually some relative of the Viking Sutters ... a great uncle or something like that. I read that in a hockey book a few years back. If forced to I could dig the title of the book out of my library, but my "library" is currently in boxes due to house renovations.

the last goalie to not wear a mask in the NHL was Pittsburgh Penguin Andy Brown (most people mistakenly think it was Gump Worsely)

Where's JohnnyB when you need him.
He's fuller of useless information than anyone I know.
On topic: Spikes which grow upwards out of your ice cube trays are formed when water is pushed upwards and to the centre of the cube as ice (which is less dense than water) forms on the periphery of the cube. The spike is actually a tube which forms as water continues to freeze from the outside in, pushing water up the middle of the tube.
It's more likely to happen if you use distilled water rather than tap water to make your ice cubes.

Which is why the conventional Hitmen logo didn't grace their shirts until the second season..
Strangely enough, I saw Joe Stephenson's (I think, I only saw the numbers) white shirt in the window of the North Van Salvation Army a few months ago. I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing it..

hehe wonder if this one is still true. did some random digging, atleast in canada this is true, 1 car for every 1.5 people now, our nearest competitor obviously Edmonton, 1 car for every 1.8 people.

It is an odd name for a hockey team marketed to children and families. The Calgary Hired Assassins.

Connie Sawyer
Connie Sawyer piloted a "Motorized Cart" in Dumb and Dumber (Elderly Lady) while robbing Lloyd Christmas while he was getting his Rhode Island Slut.
and again in Seinfeld (Old Woman) when she was involved in a high speed "Rascal" Chase when George was working for Play Now.

Male cats have barbed penises that scrape the walls of the vagina of female cats when they pull out.

A cat can become impregnated and then delay the babies development for months until they decide to have babies (or something technical like that!).
