Great recommendations, and sometimes it'll even help you discover good songs you may not have listened to much before in your own library.

www.pandora.com. It was shut down to Canadian IPs for a while but seems to be working again now.

Grooveshark.com. It is a online radio station that builds a playlist based on one song you select in the search bar. Awesome. Kind of like genius, it builds the list around what other people enjoy based on the song you selected. It blows my freaking mind.

i sometimes will search you tube and look at different teams video montages - sometimes the background music is good.
for instance i was looking at a NJ Devils vieo and came across a song called Bleeding is a Luxury by Arteyu (sp?)

Go through any and all of the music threads, including the drafts, that are here on calgarypuck. Might take a bit of work to search for them but there are gems in each and every one of them. I've probably discovered more new music from fellow calgarypuckers than anywhere else.
