Sylvan Lake, all three.

The part of the lake is called Sunbreaker Cove.

That's huge, definitely bigger than any pike I've caught.

Check out this link I found, absolute monster.

OMFG

Indeed! Best information I can find about that picture suggests that it was 44 pounds and the fish it is eating is about 8 pounds. Amazing.

Also, that 21 pounder I caught is the biggest fish I have ever caught in my life... easily, not even a close contest... previous biggest for me was a 12.5 pound Pike, also out of Sylvan.

We used to catch and see some large fish in Labrador. Biggest I've caught was a 21 lb Lake Trout... Was awsome but felt like reeling in a big log, I thought I was hooked in the bottom for the first min or so... What was that pike like pulling through the hole?

I've seen a pike streched out on someones tail gate that was stupid big, but I never seen as run of big fish like you guys have just went through!... What an awsome experience!..

Usually at Travers reservoir we pull out a couple 20 pounders a year. The biggest one we snagged this year was only 18 though.

Yeah, the deepest part of the Lake is up in that North West Corner so it makes sense that you'd find some bigger fish up at Sun Breaker Cove. I never did any Ice Fishing when I lived in Sylvan, but most people did so close to town...where you went, probably does have much better fishing. In the Summer thats always where we took the boat to do our Wake Boarding and the like, less busy.

Wow, that is indeed impressive for Sylvan lake. I thought fish like that were reserved to some of the lesser fished waters.

Those are some mighty fine looking fish you've got there. Is it just me or does that 20 pounder look to be about half the size of the 21? Either way, they're huge fish.

I love fishing, but personally, lake fishing doesn't really do it for me anymore. It's fun to go and cast a line I guess, but the most fun I've ever had fishing is out by Terrace B.C. on the Skeena River. Caught me a 30 pound salmon. So much fun. The fish are so damn big that when they hit that hook and turn downstream, that rod just snaps down. Took me a half hour to land the thing. One of my dads friends caught a 90 lbs monster in the same river a few years before, and they actually had to get out in the zodiac to chase the thing down. It's a huge huge fish.

Nice catch Nehkara, was it a fighter? Most Pike are so i'm assuming that one took a little while to reel in. i miss fishing so much. I need to get back into it.

I had a 15 pounder a couple of days ago, but my camera was out of batteries.

Seriously, somebody needs to photoshop some whopping turds in there.
