I think I found a few places. I'll try to pick up a few if people really want them.

I have dealt with Jon Marchuk there (Axe Music) for many years. Good guy.

So these Chromecasts are like a wireless AppleTV, or like a wireless HDMI cable?
Does it sync my computer screen to my tv, or does it allow my to stream certain broadcasts from my computer to tv?

I would actually be interested in a chromecast. I think you may have found a great business opportunity here.

In a sense, yes they are. They plus right into the HDMI port (still needs power from USB or wall outlet) and are only limited to select services like youtube, Amazon, hulu and Netflix.

But for a streaming device that makes any TV youtube/Netflix compatible for $35, is very attractive for most people. Awesome thing about it is anybody can remote control the feed to their TV by using the youtube/Netflix app on their smartphones.

As for computer->TV, the Chrome browser has a beta feature that allows mirroring. It's hit and miss from what I've seen.

We bought a CHromecast when we were in PSP last month. Handy little device. You may be on to something.

What is PSP? I Googled it so as not to sound like an idiot, but all I found were websites for Paint Shop Pro and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Is it an airport code? If so, what's with people speaking in airport codes these days?

Anyone looking for a nice cheap present for the hunter/fisher in their life should check these Dry Plus Silent Suede guys out at Cabelas, regularly 45 on sale for 30:

http://www.cabelas.ca/product/42133/...t-suede-gloves

They fit a bit tight, I've got long fingers but not sausage fingers so the Large was a bit snug but the XL was too big. However, if you know the guy has big hands get him a XL. The GF tried on a small as well and they are definitely unisex.

They are the ideal glove for hunting/fishing without sacrificing dexterity as you tend to do with most gloves. They can handle a Saskatchewan winter wind so those warm Chinook winds won't be a problem. Waterproof as well but they breath, lots of gloves don't do that. And also they are insulated, same insulation on the back of the hand that they use on their winter gloves. Next to a 100 dollar pair of Black Diamond gloves, these are the best utility gloves I have found for out door activities.

Thanks, they sound very similar to an AppleTV but at 1/3 the cost.
Nicker, do you want to pick me up one too? haha

I wonder how much they would cost to have shipped up here. They look small enough.

Shopbot.ca is actually better to me than redflagdeals cause they actually sort the deals a lot better.

As an example I'm looking to buy another 7950, and 3 clicks on their website gave me the best current deal for a brand new 7950 from the major Canadian retailers. Redflagdeals is great, but they don't sort their stuff near as good.

I would like Shopbot a lot more if they weren't missing MemEx in their lists.

They won't ship to Canada. You'd have to go through a package forwarding service.

Next time I'm in the US I'm apparently going to stock up on these.
