The Oilers are hurting league entertainment. No question in my mind.
They are hurting the careers of top prospects more than anything else. I'm being very serious when I say if they win the lottery again I'm going to break something.

Pierre-Luc Dubois would be a great fit for the Flames. Julien Gauthier gets more hype, amazing goal numbers, natural right winger with a deadly shot but he's an "older" player for this draft year, turned 18 in October, Dubious is 17 until June. Those months make up a lot of development.
Pierre-Luc Dubois is listed on the left wing but he can play both sides and IIRC is has been lining up at center most of this season. You love that versatility in a forward. Smart with an already refined defensive game.
6'3, over 200 pounds and can skate? If the Flames get this guy at 9, it's a steal. Could see him sneaking up the rankings as we get closer to the draft though.

Impressive. Sounds like the kid is a work horse, and is completely focused on becoming the best he can. If the skill is there this could be a great pick.

This kid would instantly drop Poirier and Klimchuck down a spot which would be refreshing. We need higher end forward prospects. It seems like we have a farm team full of really good bottom 6 nhl prospects and 2 guys that MIGHT one day crack the top 6. We so need someone like Dubois. May even push a guy like Poirier to elavate his game.
If it happens that we miss the playoffs, this would be a great pick around the 10 spot. Would be a great fit with Bennett too.

What is the saying? You can't be helped until you truly realize you have a problem
people should just start accepting the fact that the Oilers are going to get one of Laine, Puljujarvi or Matthews.
Don't hope against it, it will only make it more annoying when it happens.
Tkachuk also looked very good at the juniors. He would be a major pain to play against. IF we're to miss the playoffs this year, this is a pretty solid year to have a top 4 pick.
