The legendary Charlie Simmer was on my flight here to LAX. Talked to him, shook my hand and was a great conversationalist the entire time. Hey, we even stood in line at Enterprise to pick up our cars! Classy dude.

Is the ESPN bar a good place to meet-up before the game?

http://www.espnzone.com/losangeles/

Local newspaper ads for the LA Kings mention the game vs. the Calgary Flames, and show the Predators' logo.

ESPN zone is right across the street, but it gets pretty crowded before a game so its a good idea to get there a little early so you have time to eat before the game.

The local newspapers (and TV news) have no idea what goes on in hockey. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that Jamie Quick got a win or Jared Stall scored a goal. If they're not talking about Luc Robitaille or Wayne Gretzky, local reporters are clueless.

Kings are down Smyth, Flames down Bourque, should be an interesting game.

Nickle Diner for breakfast, a little In-N-Out snack before the game and then to Staples Centre... Should be a solid game.

Thanks for taking us to ESPN. Sorry I was so tired from Friday night. Staples Center is nice.

Lots of Flames fans - pics later of us with the LA Kings Ice Girls.

A big group of Flames fans arrived in a limo - they said "that's how we roll".

See you in Anaheim.

Aeneas stole a puck that Prust threw directly to me.

I told you to fight Troy for the puck!

You both forgot to mention the lovely Bud Light girls who gave you beads.

I can't wait for Monday in Anaheim. Should be lots of fun.

It was so nice meeting all of you. We had a great time.

So, this is a bit awkward, but have you also had really horrible gas since eating that Pizza? The other guys are giving me hell over this and I'm having an awful time with them. They're really drunk and they think it's so funny, but I'm afraid I'm looking forward to spending the night on the toilet.

I'm only asking becuase I know you had some of the same pizza and I'm thinking of calling the place tomorrow and making a complaint.

Who is this "Troy" you speak of?

If I hadn't caught the puck, Pet...troutman would have got it in the face.

Bud lite girls, Ice girls ... when they are always draping themselves upon you, why mention it.

No gas for me, but I didn't really eat the cheese on my pizza. They put a huge amount of cheese on those pizzas. Hopefully you feel better today.

We were in a group of 8, Boo Radleys 4 behind our 4. But there were 3 other groups of that size or larger that we could see.

Did they show all the hats on the ice when Iginla scored the third? Thought that was well done, until I was told by Ice or ZIce's friend that it always happens if an away player scores a hattrick.

I asked if it was you guys in the GT. They mentioned the group was from Calgary , Was going to the lakers game and the Anaheim game was well. I was listening to it the tv while in the kitchen or I could have seen if it was you guys.

One guy did say in the game thread that one of the "old" dudes looked like troutman HAHA!!!
