Would put him in the Brind'amour and Konawalchuk category of underrated players that played bigger roles for their respective teams than history gives them credit for. I wouldn't dare say Hall of Fame for him, but he had a damn fine career under the radar for the most part.

One of the better under-rated guys from mid 90s to mid 00s. No way to HOF, but really good career for a 4th rounder and very valuable to Stars organization. I wonder if Nieuwendyk adds him to Stars organization.

Just played 3 on 3 shinny with him over lunch (Farmer's Branch Tx). Said it's his second time on skates this summer, so he's definitely hanging them up. He's very friendly and all class (which confirms everything I've heard about him as a fan), not to mention an amazing hockey player.

Always fun to have a brush with the NHL.
