Does this mean no concessions open at games?
Assuming games resume after Christmas I get what 50% capacity means (some ticket holders are out of luck) but I saw this too:
Quote:
Indoor facilities that participate in the Restrictions Exemption Program:
Must limit capacity to:
50% if venue seats more than 1,000 people.
…
No food and drink consumption in seated audience settings or during intermissions in the above mentioned venues.
|
Does this mean nothing will be for sale?

Sounds like it. I suspect its because people were not masking on the basis of “I’m holding a beer in my hand all game”.

Or we can eat and drink on the concourse before and during the game just not during intermissions.

How does 50% capacity work anyways? Random draw to determine if you can go or not?
How do they figure out who can or cannot attend?

At this point you’d almost wish to be the ones refunded money and not go. How not fun will that be to go to in person.

Where can one purchase a large-capacity clandestine beer bladder? Asking for a friend.

Assume everyone attending the game at 50% will be a season ticket holder.
This is my email for the world jr's
"This afternoon, the Government of Alberta announced new Covid protocols for the Province that will impact the upcoming World Junior Championship games at Rogers Place.
Effective immediately, total attendance for all games will be limited to 50% of capacity, and food and beverage service will no longer be available.
We are currently addressing the implementation of these new regulations and will be in contact with you via email by end of day Thursday, December 23 to provide you with your revised ticket options."

When there is a publicly funded health care system that has recently been overrun with covid cases resulting in massive financial costs, lives lost from covid cases as well as surgeries that have been cancelled. Does your own risk come with filling out a documented goals of care saying that you refuse medical coverage if a worst case scenario occurs?

I don't know.. not having to lineup for 30 min during the intermission to use the bathroom has its advantages.
