Flames looking more and more like they have thrown in the towel on the season.

I'm getting that sense too.

This was about as easy a road trip as you'll find. The loss to the Oilers really started them off on the wrong foot, even if they still got a point.

'Canes and Devils are winnable games and they collected 0 points out of those.

Dallas seemed like the toughest of the five, but even they are in a bit of a funk.

It'll be interesting to see how Calgary responds tomorrow. Drop the next couple and they'll have to be sellers out of the all-star break.

Speaking of which, the trade deadline should be at the end of January, not February. It's just a wasted month.
