Stajan and Macdonald played awesome! Stempy played great. And it pains me to say this but I even noticed Comeau out there. He played good.

Pretty well for first game back. Would have had a goal or two had it not been for Backstrom being on his game. Looked good with Hudler but Comeau on the line kind of stunted them at times.

- Stajan had a good game. He had the GWG but prior to that he was winning face offs when pretty much no one else was. He won a couple at the end of the game when they were empty netted.
- Butler had a quiet, but decent game I thought. As a big Butler hater, I didn't find myself wishing someone else was playing, so I'll give him some credit this game. Which is weird because some people complained about him looking injured in the game thread, so maybe I saw something different.
- Bouwmeester had another strong game, skated circles around everyone a couple times.
- Wasn't impressed by the Wideman-Brodie pairing. Not terrible but not good this game.
- MacDonald had a good game, can't really complain about giving up 1 goal in 25 shots.
- Still not a gritty team, but they played a lot grittier this game than the last couple. Bigger hits thrown, more and longer scrums after the whistle. It's obvious why Aliu was called up, he brings what he brings.
- Outside of the Glencross hit, that lined looked invisible. Stempniak was alright, but Glencross and Cammalleri were non-existent.
- How does Comeau get to play that much? Baertschi and Hudler looked to have some nice chemistry and you can see how well Baertschi anticipates the play, he's going to break out at one point...probably once Comeau is off his line.
