Toronto Blue Jays vs. Cleveland Indians - ALCS
Predictions?
Me: Jays in 6. Starting pitching is just too good with the Jays in this matchup.

Has the rotation been set yet? I'll hold off predictions until we see that.

I think they should start Stroman in game 1
Stroman
Estrada
Happ
Sanchez
Just keep the rotation rolling. They've won 6 straight

I'd actually do the following:
Estrada (too many days off, he needs to get going)
Sanchez (get the jitters out of the way)
Stroman
Happ
Agree with keeping it rolling. Question I have is an odd one, but under any circumstances do you bring back Dickey to come out of the bullpen?

I have a feeling it will be Stroman in game 1 too. Essentially it's his turn in the rotation and I think Gibby wants to keep things consistent for the pitching staff this time around.

I don't. Knuckleball is too unpredictable IMO

I don't think so. I think Dickey needs Thole, and having those two come in at the same time in a playoff game just seems like too much of a gamble. And to have Dickey come in without Thole and keeping Martin in leaves Russel susceptible to passed balls etc.

That's the thing about having Dickey in. For sure he's very very unpredictable, and Thole on the roster isn't an option, however, if a starter falters early on, do you bring in Dickey to eat up innings (which I think would be kinda cool with the change of pace from fastballs to knuckleballs)? One pitch can ruin the game with Dickey, but if all goes well he can do a lot of good. The only way I'd be interested in bringing him along is if a starter falters early and if Liriano's head is shaky.

Game 4 and 5 overlap with the NLCS so they will probably be afternoon games
