I thought he did pretty well with his opportunity and unfortunately for him he's a little offensively challenged at the NHL level. He will probably be back at some point this season I'm sure.

I think he did everything that could be asked of him in varying roles. Nice utility player to have and know you can use without him being a big liability.

FWIW, these are the projected lines for tonight, so doubtful Stajan plays for this game.

Yeah there is no real role for Jackman on this team anymore and he should be the one sent down when healthy.
We have a heavyweight (McGrattan), Middleweight (O'Brien), and a Lightweight (Bouma).
And quite frankly he doesn't bring enough energy anymore to be effective on the 3rd line.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Street ends up being a Scott Nichol-like player who never becomes a permanent fixture on a team, but is good enough to find work year after year on teams looking for a dependable 3/4th line player
